Night dive BBQ on KHRAM

As part of Mermaids Appreciation Day to our customers, Mermaids 4 boat headed to out to the HTMS Khram wreck on 25th April for 2 night dives with a traditional BBQ onboard. Divers were surprised by the variety of marine life around at this time, sighting sand rays, big schools of barracudas and sweet lips. Of course the marine life didn’t expect to see divers and were soon scattering around the wreck.

NIST International School Clean up the reef on 26th April

Returning for their annual Clean Up The Reef Day, it was great to see many of our friends again and some new students.

Underwater divers reported very little trash on the Island of Koh Sak, which is great news. The beach cleaners found a lot of trash in a small area, with most of it being washed up and caught in the sand and rocks. The usual suspects were found, such as Styrofoam, lighters and food wrappers.
