Mermaids Dive Center in Pattaya, Thailand

International Underwater and Beach Clean Up Day

Join us on Saturday 20^th September 2014 to help clean up our beach and reef of Koh Sak Island, located just off Pattaya Bay. This is the 7^th year of the Mermaids International Clean Up Day and always guaranteed to be lots of fun and cleaning.

Mermaids will provide transport from the center on the morning to the pier and return you back later in day so you can get ready for the evening event held at The Captains Corner Restaurant at the Residence Gardens.

Raffle tickets are on sale during the day and will be drawn at the evening event. Prizes range from dive equipment, hotel stays to a Go Pro HD Camera.

Event Schedule

Meet at Mermaids Dive Center, Jomtien for registration and payment. We will provide you with a color sticker to let you know which boat you will be going on, you will also get your International Clean Up Day T Shirt to wear throughout the day.

Before heading down to Bali Hai Pier, grab your breakfast, we are serving bacon or egg rolls for everyone.

Head to your boat and once on board the Boatmaster will give you a full boat brief and dive teams and snorkel teams will be assigned.

At Koh Sak, we will do the first dive and snorkelers will head out to the reef for cleaning. Head back to the boat for lunch and rest and relaxation then we will head off to the beach to clean up and get our group photo.

While the snorkelers stay on the beach to clean and snorkel the reef, divers can head back to the boats to get ready for their second dive. Once we are finished we all head back to Bali Hai Pier and back to Mermaids Dive Center.

Make your way down to Captains Corner Restaurant at the Residence Gardens to have dinner and await the evening activities and entertainment to start at approximately 5.30pm.

Prices for the day

Divers @ 2,800 baht each

Snorkelers/Passengers @ 1,200 baht each

The above prices include breakfast, lunch on the boat, and buffet dinner at Captains Corner. Water and Hot Drinks. Diving or snorkeling equipment if needed. International Clean Up Day T Shirt. Transport to Bali Hai Pier from Mermaids Dive Center and return.

November 10, 2018 Two dives on the Bremen Wreck. The Bremen was sunk in 1920 and today is sitting on the seabed at around 24 meters. Covered in corals and full of life, this is a great dive to add to your logbook. The wreck is located between Pattaya and Samaesan. Due to the depth, at least PADI Advanced Open Water divers are allowed on this trip.
 
 Due to its position, the wreck is subject to strong currents and is rarely dived.
