It’s Officially an Annual Event

The 2nd Inter Schools International Clean Up Day is back on Saturday 12th September 2015. Last year 301 students and teachers from Bangkok and Pattaya International Schools joined together with Mermaids Dive Center to clean our local reef and beach at Koh Sak Island, located 45 minutes boat ride from the Bali Hai Pier in Pattaya.

The 2nd Inter Schools International Clean Up Day

All boats collected over 100kg of trash each and the beach itself yielded a few tons of rope and rubbish. The biggest culprit – plastic bottles. Well done to our schools from last year who took part. From the Bangkok region: Wells, Bangkok Patana, Garden, NIST, ISB and the American School of Bangkok. From Pattaya: Regents International School.

You can snorkel, dive or just simply join us on the boat. Bookings are already underway and if you are an International School, or a School Representative, or an interested Parent and would like to join the clean up, please contact Sheena by emailing  sheena@mermaidsdivecenter.com Help us make a difference to our  local environment for future generations.

Always wanted to know where it comes from?
