International School of Chonburi Snorkeling Day - Who knew that we had such an abundance of underwater natural beauty right on our doorstep? Diving with Whale Sharks - When a Whale Shark is spotted on the surface 20 minutes prior to your dive, you don't expect to drop down and be treated to spotting it instantly. And not only one of them but two Whale Sharks on a single dive. This is pretty much every divers dream come true. November Koh Chang Dive Weekend - It’s that time of year again! The weather has returned to ideal conditions to dive the iconic ship wreck, the HTMS Chang. Twice a year, here at Mermaids Dive Center we host a trip down to the beautiful island of Koh Chang. Diving the Bremen Wreck - We need really good conditions to get out to the Bremen Wreck and the 10th November 2018 was just prefect for this day trip out for our local divers. The Petchburi Bremen was built in Germany and has a length of 88.5m. She was confiscated by Thailand in 1917 and sank sailing from Bangkok to Swatow due to an engine room fire on 27th December 1920 in a channel of water that is hard to dive. https://www.mermaidsdivecenter.com/diving-the-bremen-wreck/

November 10, 2018 Two dives on the Bremen Wreck. The Bremen was sunk in 1920 and today is sitting on the seabed at around 24 meters. Covered in corals and full of life, this is a great dive to add to your logbook. The wreck is located between Pattaya and Samaesan. Due to the depth, at least PADI Advanced Open Water divers are allowed on this trip. Due to its position, the wreck is subject to strong currents and is rarely dived. https://www.mermaidsdivecenter.com

May 19, 2018 Drift Diving the Hardeep Wreck. The first dive of the day we will be drift diving from the Hardeep wreck to Koh Rong Khon. The currents are looking good for an exciting dive. It will be a hard pull down the line but once at the bottom, the fun will start. October 28, 2018 2 Dives on Hin Chalam Island. Often with over 15 meters viability, this is a great dive site to explore. On the northern point of Hin Chalam, large shoals of fish can hide the coral from sight, Nudibranch, Giant Pufferfish, Barracudas, Turtles, Cuttlefish are just a few of the things to see here. October 20, 2018 Drift The Wall at Koh Man Wichai. We are drifting down the stunning coral wall at the West Side of Koh Man Wichai ending up into the bay. We've got a twist on the currents today and we're going from a serene morning dive on the Hardeep to an extreme drift dive in the afternoon where we will attempt to hit the Wreck. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon dive on the Samaesan Islands followed by a choice of a night dive on either the Hardeep Wreck which is spectacular at night or the local Coral sites where we can get Squid, Blue Spotted Rays, Catfish, Corals in Bloom and Big Blue Fish.
