November Koh Chang Dive Weekend. It’s that time of year again! The weather has returned to ideal conditions to dive the iconic ship wreck, the HTMS Chang. Twice a year, here at Mermaids Dive Center we host a trip down to the beautiful island of Koh Chang. Harrows Ocean Warriors Clean Up. An amazing turnout from the Harrows Ocean Warriors Group from Harrows School, Bangkok on their Clean Up The Beach Trip on Saturday 12th January 2019. A staggering 230 people in total took part and ranged from the very small people to adults. We Are Football Crazy. An update on the Hand to Hand boys football team. They won 5 games out of 5 to blitz the St. Andrews Green Valley 11-a-side Championships and so 15 months since their founding to take their first title. With the spirit and growing skill of  the players, we believe the 1st of many to come. Oh how well they played, 4-0, 3-1, 2-0, 5-3, and 5-0 in the final. November 10, 2018 Two dives on the Bremen Wreck. The Bremen was sunk in 1920 and today is sitting on the seabed at around 24 meters. Covered in corals and full of life, this is a great dive to add to your logbook. The wreck is located between Pattaya and Samaesan. Due to the depth, at least PADI Advanced Open Water divers are allowed on this trip. November 16, 2018 Koh Chang Wreck Diving Trip. You can also do this weekend as an Open Water Diver as the main super structure of the wreck is at 5m. It super cool for our Junior Divers to experience the wreck as well. And we are looking for the Whale Shark again. February 15, 2019 Koh Chang Wreck Diving Trip. The HTMS Chang built in 1944 was sunk as an artificial reef on the 22nd November 2012 and at 100m in length, it is the largest shipwreck for recreational divers in Thailand. With the gun turrets at the stern of the ship and lots of exploration areas. Off the side of the wreck there are over 40 inquisitive Batfish swimming in a shoal. https://www.mermaidsdivecenter.com
