A Highlight on Koh Rong Nang Samaesan - Diving on Koh Rong Nang in Samaesan Samaesan located in the area of Sattahip, is probably one of our best diving areas. It's an active fishing pier and bustling with activity when you arrive on the morning. Located just 50 minutes from our center in Jomtien, it's well worth the visit and it's great for snorkeling too. https://www.mermaidsdivecenter.com/a-highlight-on-koh-rong-nang-samaesan/

Diving the Bremen Wreck

Image
Diving the Bremen Wreck - We need really good conditions to get out to the Bremen Wreck and the 10th November 2018 was just prefect for this day trip out for our local divers. The Petchburi Bremen was built in Germany and has a length of 88.5m. She was confiscated by Thailand in 1917 and sank sailing from Bangkok to Swatow due to an engine room fire on 27th December 1920 in a channel of water that is hard to dive. https://www.mermaidsdivecenter.com/diving-the-bremen-wreck/

Image
A Highlight of Koh Khrok Island Pattaya - Diving on Koh Khrok Island in Pattaya The tiny island of Koh Khrok is visible from the main beach of Jomtien, because it's only about 8km from the main coast. This island is the perfect scuba diver spot because it's home to about 5 or 6 turtles. Koh Khrok also has the largest area of Anenome beds including their "Nemos" out of any of the Pattaya Islands. It's great for snorkeling too. https://www.mermaidsdivecenter.com/a-highlight-of-koh-krok-island-pattaya/

1st Aid and CPR training at Mermaids in Pattaya

Image
1st Aid and CPR training at Mermaids in Pattaya - The internet is a place that can be full of inaccurate information about first aid treatments, such as putting butter on a burn, or sucking the venom from a snake bite. As any first aid instructor will tell you, putting butter (or any other food product) on a burn won’t help, and you should never attempt to suck the venom out of a snake bite. https://www.mermaidsdivecenter.com/1st-aid-and-cpr-training-at-mermaids-in-pattaya/

Mermaids Similans April Trip 2019 - Another great trip on board the M/V Tapana Liveaboard visiting the Similan Islands. Leaving from Phuket Airport, we headed to the boat and boarded the Tapana to be greeted by their awesome crew with some great snacks for us. The boat is looking fabulous after it's renovation and the 2 VIP rooms were a big hit with their double beds and En-Suite bathrooms. https://www.mermaidsdivecenter.com/mermaids-similans-trip-2019/
