Our dive facilities are always in demand for the diver that wishes to follow a career in scuba diving, whether this is as a dive master or an instructor. There are other potential interns that are either not old enough to turn dive pro yet (must be 18 years) or those that want to reach the MSD M aster S cuba D iver rating for personal satisfaction. 2013 – 2014 Schedule for Mermaids Samaesan Boats Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Hardeep Wreck, Coral Dive Hardeep Wreck, Coral Dive 2 Night Dives Hardeep Wreck, Coral Dive Hardeep Wreck, Coral Dive Hardeep Wreck, Coral Dive Hardeep Wreck, Coral Dive Mermaids I,  II and III Boats depart from Warasin Pier at Samae San We pickup our divers in Pattaya and Jomtien area at 8am from their hotel reception area and bring them to our Operations Center in Jomtien. After getting dive and snorkeling gear, we transport them to Warasin Pier, which is approximately 45 min away and board one of our boats heading to Hardeep Wreck (30-45 min). First wreck dive usually followed by 2 coral dives for those who are not certified to dive to 30meters, or just want to skip a wreck dive. Location of 2 coral dives determined on a day of diving depending on tide charts and weather. All customers should be back in the shop by 5pm and sent back to hotel. Monday 9th June 2014 saw the foundations going into place of Mermaids City. It is and will be an ongoing development with adding mermaid related features to make Mermaids City grow. The new underwater site is at a depth of ~10 meters on sandy bottom and is located offshore Pattaya near an island not too far from a coral reef. Mermaids City is dedicated to mermaids, underwater models, photo and videographers, divers and reef dwellers. Another aim is to attract marine life, plant corals and have Mermaids City as an artificial reef. You can donate a theme related item made of stone, concrete or iron and/or additional it will be possible to cast yourself as a statue and be submerged as part of Mermaids City. Born in Yokohoma, Japan in 1980, Mori started to dive at the age of 20, even though he didn’t know how to swim. He was certified as a PADI Divemaster in 2002 and diving changed his life so much he wanted to experience every aspect of his passion and a became a PADI Instructor in 2004. Mori carries on this passion and loves to share this with his students and fellow divers. Mori not only became a PADI Course Director in 2013, he is also the only Japanese PADI Course Director in Thailand. He has dived extensively in Thailand and also Australia, amongst other destinations. Mori was a travel agent and Magazine Editor before taking up diving as a full time career. Mori joins Mermaids Dive Center on 11 th June 2014 and brings the Education Standards to an all new high with 3 PADI Course Directors on the team, with Russell Martin covering the English Market and Sanya Lohitnavy teaching in T...
